We have introduced translation feature in our subtitle editor, a feature requested by many of our users. This unlocks two user workflows for our users - 

Upload user-created subtitles and get translated subtitles in other languages

Users can upload subtitles that they have carefully created in some language. For example, the video below shows English subtitles which the user has uploaded. They can then click on “translate” to generate subtitles in more languages from the 80+ languages that we support. In the example, the user is creating translated subtitles in Hindi, Spanish, German, and Korean. 

Edit our AI generated subtitles in one language and create translated subtitles in other languages 

While our AI subtitle generation is awesome, users might still want to edit them to exactly make them as they want them to be. Once they have spent time editing subtitles in one language, they would want these edits to be reflected in AI generated subtitles in other languages. The translation feature in subtitle editor precisely handles this use-case. 

Note: Our existing AI subtitle generation feature to generate subtitles in multiple languages for a video with a single click remains available and works exactly how it used to before.
